Electrically controlled Stertil-Stokvis Hydraulic Dock Leveller with telescopic lip, model - HQ 4020, size 2000 mm wide x 4000mm long x 900 deep and fitted with a 600mm long telescopic lip.  Rated loading capacity 6000Kg.single axle loading (based on the EN1398 statement that 100% of the load to be calculated on the front axle) Colour to be blue Ral 5020 or black Ral 9011. The top plate, lip and "T" beam sections are manufactured from FE –510D high tensile steel. A 4-point hinge system at the rear of the platform is to provide support and stability. Automatically operated TWIN cross traffic safety support legs with rubber shock absorbers to reduce noise which support the unit and a fully rated load without reliance on lip saddles/catchers, in the cross traffic position. The platform has the ability to twist upto 125mm without creating a tripping hazard at the rear. Brush weather seals. Panic-Stop facility to prevent freefall in the event of vehicle pull away. Emergency stop to comply with EC directives. Integral fixed maintenance support strut and full range safety toe guards. Fully compliant to EC directive EN1398.

Doors and dock levelers to be operated from a combined single control panel

Energy absorbing Polyethylene low friction PE 450 dock bumpers incorporating rubber shock absorbers to reduce collision damage.

The special front face to be manufactured from ultra high molecular polyethylene, which can be simply rotated on site and interchanged to give four times the life of each bumper. All fixing to be located in the rear plate to ensure a flat front surface. Vehicle buffers to have a 150mm projection to be located on both sides of the dock leveller to prevent vehicle contact and possible damage to the building structure.

240v DC LED 140 mm Dia. traffic light system, guaranteed for 5 years. To consist of red and green LED lights mounted behind a polycarbonate lens and housed in a single high-density polyethylene black casing, fitted with visors. Rated to IP65 mounted externally beside each dock shelter on the reversing drivers side fully compliant with BS 873 standard. Internal repeater lights mounted in face of combined control panel.

A Stertil-Stokvis WIS 300/574 shelter is to be installed to each dock leveller opening. To cover a vehicle range of 4880 (Double deck trailers) down to 3250mm (7.5 ton vehicles) Fixed frame construction loading dock shelters with inflatable head bag and side curtains. The head bag is manufactured from heavy-duty Cordura material, 1200 denier with an extremely high tear resistance which has a polypropylene and polyurethane coating The side curtains are to be manufactured from heavy-duty 3mm PVC material to give resistance to the elements and withstand abrasive actions and remain colorfast in extremes of environment Galvanized steel support brackets are to be incorporated . Size 3500 w x 4150H x 900 projection. (based on a 1200 mm high dock)

Dock Lights

K1070 dock lights to illuminate the internal section of the trailer. To be swinging arm type with a robust PVC cowling, light fitting to include a transformer to reduce supply down from 240v. Bulb to be halogen long lasting 12 volt

Doors to be Stertil-Stokvis model Thermadoor 545 to consist of electrically operated insulated vertical lift with low level springs for ease of maintenance. The rigid panels to be manufactured from two skins of galvanised steel, infilled with expanded polyurethane foam, designed to give a U-value of 0.4 W/m2K. A continuous thermal break is to be provided between inner and outer skins. EPDM seals to be fitted to the top, bottom and sides of the door to prevent rain penetration and minimise draughts. 

Size to give a clear opening 2860mm wide x 3500mm high ( Note: structural steel size 3000mm wide x 3570mm high if 70mm insulated cladding returns around door jambs/soffit).

Compliance with BS EN 12453: 2001 (requirement for safety in use of power.) and BS EN 12604: 2000 (mechanical aspects).  Side frames shaped as hand guards.  To include 2-No. double glazed windows in the 3^rd panel.  External colour to our standard range of colours, internal Light Grey Ral 9002.

Below each dock access cast into the service yard, 1-pair of 2000mm long x 168mm dia high profile galvanized steel tubular wheel guides with flared entrance for ease of parking.

Level Access Doors
